Block request for User:Sakin Tajul

[edit]

Sakin Tajul (talk · contributions · Move log · block log · uploads · Abuse filter log
Requesting a block for repeated copyright violations despite receiving a final warning on 17 January 2026. The user uploaded 73 copyright violations prior to the final warning, 6 more the day after receiving it, and at least 1 additional violation in March 2026. The post-warning files have been tagged for speedy deletion as copyright violations by me.

Of all files uploaded by this user, every single one is a confirmed copyright violation except for 4 images for which I could not locate the original source. Given the overwhelming and consistent pattern of copyright violations across this account, I do not believe good faith can reasonably be assumed for these remaining 4 files either.

Block request for ปลาหมอ. Reason: For being a sock puppet.

[edit]

ปลาหมอ (talk · contributions · Statistics · Recent activity · block log · User rights log · uploads · Global account information)

I suspect he's a sock puppet. He uploaded a previously deleted image (It was me who requested the deletion of the image in question), and went straight to the graphics lab illustration workshop. I also nominated the newly uploaded image for deletion too. Candidyeoman55 (talk) 08:59, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Block or warning request for Kaylaprentice2

[edit]

Kaylaprentice2 (talk · contributions · Move log · block log · uploads · Abuse filter log

Apologies as I'm not entirely sure what the correct procedure for this should be:

  • The user Kaylaprentice2 was created yesterday or today and their only edit was to vandalize the description for File:Walgreens Receipt with RX number 2.jpg (note that the image clearly has a San Francisco, California address.) This may not be enough to establish a pattern but I'm not sure how this is approached here.
  • Also, should the file (File:Walgreens Receipt with RX number 2.jpg) be protected?
  • Actually, while editing I noticed this vandalism target that's a bit more obvious: File:Bangladeshi Passport Bio Page.jpg, I would like to request autoconfirmed protection for this file.
  • Do we have tools like Wikipedia:Twinkle that help report and revert vandalism available? I remember trying to install it a while ago but didn't see it available.
  • Finally, while I'm used to posting to this page since I've linked to it from my user page, I just noticed this page: Commons:Administrators' noticeboard/Vandalism. What's the difference, should I have posted that there instead?

Thanks, --Stux (talk) 11:49, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

✓ Done. I warned Kaylaprentice and semi-protected both files for 1 and 3 years respectively. Notice here in AN/B is enough good, because you requested protection of files, I protected them and here is proper place to request protections. I don't use Twinkle-like tools myself, but some other do. Taivo (talk) 12:26, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
@Stux: Hi. I'm sorry to inform you that Twinkle does not work here; I use m:User:Xiplus/TwinkleGlobal. COM:ANV would have been more appropriate if you had not requested protection.   — 🇺🇦Jeff G. please ping or talk to me🇺🇦 12:53, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
