The Chinese government utilized the annual opportunity to have police show off a new tool at their disposal to conduct surveillance on crowds: eyeglass mounted mobile facial recognition devices, facial recognition glasses you could say.

In state media this week, the surveillance devices were touted as a way to help Chinese cops catch criminals who try to remain undetected in the annual crowds that flood airports and train stations. The thing is, these “criminals” are often people doing things that are regarded as completely normal, well within the basic rights of people in other places. In China people become “criminals” very easily.

For instance, there was the man who was an online activist in China, a person like the individuals who write articles in the western alternative media. Liu Hu became a criminal, and eventually had his ability to perform basic tasks such as board a flight or a train, or own land revoked. You could say he had his “chip turned off,” but never harmed anyone. Liu Hu belongs to a demographic that is persecuted in China: the thinkers. The most colorful, unique souls alive in China might become criminals.

The facial recognition glasses have already been a factor in deciding the fate of a few people.

7 people wanted by the authorities for alleged involvement with “major criminal cases,” and 26 people traveling under false identities were recently arrested with the aid of the new facial recognition glasses at Zhengzhou’s East Railway station. Using a false identity could probably become necessary for any average free spirited person in China.

The Chinese government closely monitors air and train travel, and people often try to evade travel restrictions with an identity that someone allows them to borrow, or one they stole. Because of surveillance, a massive facial recognition database is possible.

According to the Wall Street Journal:

“China is already a global leader in deploying cutting-edge surveillance technologies based on artificial intelligence. The mobile devices could expand the reach of that surveillance, allowing authorities to peer into places that fixed cameras aren’t scanning, and to respond more quickly.”

“The eyeglass-mounted camera is equipped with facial-recognition technology capable of “highly effective screening” of crowds for fugitives traveling under false pretenses, the official People’s Daily newspaper reported Monday. Its story included images of a policewoman wearing a sunglasses version of the device at a railway station in Zhengzhou, capital of central China’s Henan province.”

The mainstream media articles don’t mind admitting China is a totalitarian nightmare, because they’re on the other side of the geopolitical divide: the US commits war crimes abroad while China does not, but China is a nightmare for its citizens.

“The potential to give individual police officers facial-recognition technology in sunglasses could eventually make China’s surveillance state all the more ubiquitous,” said William Nee, China researcher at Amnesty International.

So who made the glasses for the police? A company based in Beijing called LLVision Technology Co.

However, not a single article one can find on the Internet has pointed out that LLVision Technology Co. was founded a mere 3 and a half years ago: by ex-engineers and experts from Google, Lenovo, and Microsoft.

According to documentation on Made in China.com:

“LLVISION was founded in 2014 by a team of experts and engineers from Google, Lenovo, Microsoft and the China Aeronautics Consortium. Its mission is to help companies realize their Industry 4.0 revolutions with the advent of it Augmented Reality glasses and Enterprise platform.”

Do these facial recognition glasses seem similiar to Google Glass? Because some of the very same engineers from Google could have participated in the creation of these glasses. Exactly which engineers from Google and Microsoft joined LLVision Technology Co. in Beijing, it is unclear as of yet.

Articles from sites such as Engadget noted that LLVision created the glasses for Chinese police, but said little about the company. According to Engadget:

“The Wall Street Journal reports that Beijing-based LLVision Technology Co. developed the devices. The company produces wearable video cameras as well and while it sells those to anyone, it’s vetting buyers for its facial recognition devices. And, for now, it isn’t selling them to consumers. LLVision says that in tests, the system was able to pick out individuals from a database of 10,000 people and it could do so in 100 milliseconds. However, CEO Wu Fei told the Wall Street Journal that in the real world, accuracy would probably drop due to “environmental noise.” Additionally, aside from being portable, another difference between these devices and typical facial recognition systems is that the database used for comparing images is contained in a hand-held device rather than the cloud.”

The CEO of LLVision seems to be a man named Fei Wu. According to his professional profile on Linked In, he is also the Key Part Manager for Lenovo Research, as he was from January 2010 to the present.

That means Lenovo figures are helping the Chinese police state in a major way: and all of the media is silent. This detail is mysteriously left out of every report on this. Fei Wu is apparently an inventor, with 64 US patent applications filed and 39 granted, according to some evidence that can be found at this link via Patent Buddy.

Why is it relevant to learn about these people? To understand the way our world works and what we are subject to, compared to the class above us: Fei Wu is probably not subject to the same type of tyrannical legal pressure as the civilian class of China, as Americans with money are usually not subject to the laws enforced in the drug war.

He’s like the founder of Alibaba, the corporation helping the Chinese government surveil the residents of Hangzhou, China, with cameras linked up to artificial intelligence in what they now call a “smart city.” He is lavish billionaire Jack Ma: a wanna-be celebrity corporate kingpin, who makes headlines about how he is going to become a movie star.

Best believe Jack Ma and Fei Wu can break the laws of China if they want, because they have money. You bet if Fei Wu or Jack Ma want to, they can spark up a joint or violate a minor law: but if a regular citizen of China did that, they might end up with a heavy prison sentence, or even disabled from traveling on trains or flights.

This company is creating non-consumer items, specialized for police use with a feature so the data is stored on the device and not on the cloud: so the civilians get a different type of technology with easily surveilled data, conveniently stored on the cloud and Chinese authorities get facial recognition glasses?

At first this seemed like a common story of the Chinese surveillance grid getting worse as it constantly is, but upon closer inspection this might be something more. This story might suggest that a corporation as big as Google, Microsoft, Lenovo or Apple, might be such an incredible force of power that it would splinter off a team of engineers that could form a company, that within 4 years, could provide a government with some technology that damages its civilians.

So that’s the era we live in: an era where corporations are so powerful, they are on par with government in terms of influence and power. They are technological pioneers: and will make deals with governments that can affect the lives of all civilians living within those borders, whether the people like it or not. Several categories of power could be considered when trying to figure out who runs things. There is government power, corporate power, institutional power (for instance, universities and academic institutions). There is financial power, bankers and such, and there is even occult power, fraternal orders and secret societies.

Whenever a force alters the lives of civilians minding their own business, it becomes the business of the people to understand how the power operates.

You might end up stripped of your ability to do every basic thing you need to do to survive.

One man is restricted from owning property, unable to board flights and many trains, and worse because he got on the wrong side of an Orwellian “social credit” system in China.

The system is already a real life example of an age old conspiracy theory that a digital or one world currency would be used as a means to control people, and remove them from the right to use money if they get on the bad side of the state (like having your “chip turned off,” as the theory goes).

Liu Hu was an activist in China for 20 years, pushing a hard line against the rigid censorship they are subjected to. He was like the independent journalists we know, using his own blog to point out the corruption and immorality of high-level officials and publish info about tyranny.

In 2013, he was imprisoned and accused of “fabricating and spreading rumors.” A not so speedy trial, in late 2016 he was found guilty of defamation.

The court ordered him to apologize on his own social media account with 740,000 followers. He was unwilling to do that, so the court said he could pay $115 to publish his fake apology on an “authorized website.” He paid the money, but the judge raised the fee to $2,900: because f**k rules, the state can just do whatever it wants?

Now at the beginning of last year, he was rebuilding his life and he discovered he had been stripped of many of his most basic rights. Without any notice, China’s new social credit system (which even mainstream media describes as a “pervasive new tool for social control”) struck him hard.

According to the Globe and Mail:

“Without any notice, he had been caught up in the early reaches of a social-credit system that China is developing as a pervasive new tool for social control – one expected to one day tighten the state’s grip on its citizens. Critics have called it an Orwellian creation – a new kind of “thought police.””

When Mr. Liu tried to buy a plane ticket, the booking system simply refused it, saying he was “not qualified.” He was banned from buying property, traveling on the country’s main trains, and taking out a loan from a bank.

The activist said:

“There was no file, no police warrant, no official advance notification. They just cut me off from the things I was once entitled to. What’s really scary is there’s nothing you can do about it. You can report to no one. You are stuck in the middle of nowhere.”

This is a brother of the truth in a land much different from the West.

The system of “social credit” was first officially envisioned in the mid-1990’s. It assigns a ranking to each person in the country of 1.4 billion people: it is an “all encompassing” system of judgement basically based on how obedient a person is to the government, plus their basic responsibilities, like a US credit score.

Far from a Western credit score however, it’s a full blown judgement based on every single piece of data the government can collect about a person. A 2014 Chinese government document about its plans says: “trust-keeping is insufficiently rewarded, the costs of breaking trust tend to be low.”

China is a real life example of the technocracy that many suspect the US and countries all over the world are becoming. Looking into China, we’re peering into our own future if we don’t stand up for what we believe in.

The article from Globe and Mail continues:

“It is the most ambitious attempt by any government in modern history to fuse technology with behavioural control, placing China at the forefront of a new kind of authoritarianism, one that can mine a person’s digital existence – shopping habits, friends, criminal records, political views – and judge them according to the state’s standard of reliability.

It was only months later that Mr. Liu discovered what had happened. A friend pointed him to a website run by China’s Supreme People’s Court called the List of Dishonest Persons Subject to Enforcement, a formalized catalogue of exclusion. In Mr. Liu’s case, the reason states: “This person refuses to fulfill the duties listed in the verdict even though he is able to do so.””

This Chinese blacklist currently contains over 7.49 million people, and uses any kind of surveillance data that can possibly be harvested to judge a person’s social, moral, political and commercial life.

It’s an introvert’s worst nightmare: constant, all encompassing judgement made possible by surveillance.

One girl was put on the blacklist as a toddler. Another man was blacklisted for stealing a couple packs of cigarettes, but the worst crime in the eyes of a state that seeks to use and manipulate its unarmed citizens is dissent.

A Beijing lawyer spoke on Liu’s case:

“I can’t say that Liu Hu’s outspokenness led directly to his troubles. But we have to admit that Liu’s is not a rare case. Many people who are, like him, similarly controversial are very likely to endure the same ordeal,” Zhu Xiaoding said.

“And the lack of an appeal mechanism has made these people unable to seek the help they really need. That leaves them in despair, because their social relations, as well as their material lives, have been ruined,” he continued.

Certain Chinese cities even change the sound you hear on the phone when a blacklisted person calls you, blasting them as some kind of criminal from the start.

Last year, we reported on one of the world’s first “smart cities” in China. The city of Hangzhou became a “smart city,” in which cameras and microphones on nearly every block closely monitor everything, sending the police to the scene of anyone breaking a law as petty as they want to enforce.

What really makes it technocracy however, is the fact that artificial intelligence is linked up to Hangzhou’s surveillance grid.

Reading from the article:

“Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba Group Holding Limited is aiding the Chinese police state in catching people who break the law, tracking criminals in real time in their new “smart city” of Hangzhou, home to 9 million people.

They are using video feeds and artificial intelligence, tracking things as petty as illegal parking in real time, putting the city under total surveillance.

Using hundreds of thousands of cameras located across the city and artificial intelligence, they were able to do a lot: for the people who control the city, not the residents.”

Imagine being for instance, a free thinking, cannabis smoking regular person in China. You’d be put in prison for a long time for using cannabis and you’d actually get caught with the surveillance grid they have.

They say the missing matter in their calculations may come from a kind of energy that connects galaxies: filaments of hot gas that link galaxies together.

Scientists from the nearly 500 year old institution the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and researchers from the Institute of Space Astrophysics (IAS) in Orsay, France performed them.

It has long been said that calculations about the mass of the universe do not add up. “Dark matter” is a theoretical concept used to explain this anomaly in calculations.

According to Futurism:

“The two teams confirmed that the missing ordinary matter in the universe can be found in the form of filaments of hot, diffuse gas linking galaxies together.

While long predicted, these gasses have a tenuous nature that has made them impossible to detect using X-ray telescopes. To get around that, both teams made use of the Sunyaev-Zel’dovich effect. This phenomenon occurs when leftover light from the Big Bang passes through hot gas, leaving behind a trace of the gas that can be captured. A map of this effect within the observable universe was produced by the Planck satellite in 2015.”

While it’s not easy to reason through this as an ordinary person, and see how exactly scientists calculated the mass of the observable universe and decided some other type of matter was missing from the equation, we can at least try to put these theories to the test.

The first study is titled “Missing baryons in the cosmic web revealed by the Sunyaev-Zel’dovich effect.”

Reading from the summary of the paper:

“Observations of galaxies and galaxy clusters in the local universe can account for only 10% of the baryon content inferred from measurements of the cosmic microwave background and from nuclear reactions in the early Universe. Locating the remaining 90% of baryons has been one of the major challenges in modern cosmology. Cosmological simulations predict that the ‘missing baryons’ are spread throughout filamentary structures in the cosmic web, forming a low density gas with temperatures of 105−107 K.”

As one can see, it gets a little complicated. It would require further research to internalize what “baryon content measured in the cosmic microwave background” exactly means.

It essentially claims that simulations predict the missing baryons are actually present in a “cosmic web,” a “filamentary structure” that connects galaxies. The idea is certainly fantastic and satisfying to our innate curiosity.

Now to reason through how accurate that simulation they cite is, it’s pretty much a dead end for critical thought. I can’t think of a way to verify that their simulation is accurate or inaccurate.

The second study, titled “A Search for Warm/Hot Gas Filaments Between Pairs of SDSS Luminous Red Galaxies” references Planck satellite data in searching for those filaments that may bridge galaxies, apparently referring to a massive amount of data released in 2015 by the Planck satellite.

A summary of it reads:

“We search the Planck data for a thermal Sunyaev-Zel’dovich (tSZ) signal due to gas filaments between pairs of Luminous Red Galaxies (LRG’s) taken from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 12 (SDSS/DR12). We identify ∼260,000 LRG pairs in the DR12 catalog that lie within 6-10 h−1Mpc of each other in tangential direction and within 6 h−1Mpc in radial direction. We stack pairs by rotating and scaling the angular positions of each LRG so they lie on a common reference frame, then we subtract a circularly symmetric halo from each member of the pair to search for a residual signal between the pair members. “

The Planck satellite data was explained in a February 5th, 2015 release from Columbia University:

“Long awaited data from the Planck satellite was released today, papers available here. The accompanying press release leads with results about the timing of the first stars, 500 million years or so after the big bang, with little mention of the very early universe.”

The purpose of this article is to critically think through the info in these studies, and try to reason through what these scientists are saying instead of taking it as fact immediately.

It is difficult to reason through things past a certain level of complexity when we are presented with any scientific study. In this one, at a certain point it does get complicated to the point of difficulty.

One observation that can be made is that the nature of these studies is very centralized. They are centralized in this Planck satellite data, or a simulation that we can’t quite verify the accuracy of ourselves.

Planck is probably a reference to the old Max Planck institutions in Germany, a range of universities and institutions formerly given the name “Kaiser Wilhelm.”

In Germany, the Max Planck institutions centralize science just as in the United States, the academic institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, the University of Chicago, ect. make their scientific direction, method, and every aspect of what they do very centralized.

At the same time, the institutions help government agencies like DARPA and produce technology and things for the state. The powerful universities are “with the sh*t” so to speak: they side with the state and other powers that aren’t out for the best interest of the people. However, these particular studies are fascinating.

Within the massive umbrella of these universities, of course some innocuous, fantastic, or brilliant findings come about. For the sake of having a full perspective and not being naive, it is necessary to know all of this.

So when info and scientific direction is so centralized in specific institutions, that cooperate and work with government and corporations, we really should be reasoning through what they say critically. We should be taking the time to reason through things like this regardless.

These certainly are some entertaining theories and it can be satisfying to think about such things. Hopefully people will derive satisfaction from also challenging themselves to critically reason through everything.

After all, “science” does not mean the authority of people in academic institutions who call themselves scientists: true science is a non-corruptible idea. Science is the method of proving something with tangible evidence, it has nothing necessarily to do with “scientists.”

While archetypes about consciousness, human interaction, and the nature of reality are visible through the lens of astrology, in my opinion astrology is very literal. Those who embody the energy of a particular sign literally are made of that energy, and literally clash with another particular energy, or be fulfilled by another energy. It’s insightful to understanding consciousness to understand astrology, but it is also very literal.

This article will explore one “cross” in astrology: 4 signs that square and oppose each other.

As we explored in this past article, squares are possibly the most difficult astrology aspect. As we wrote here, opposite signs are actually very similar sometimes.

When you put 4 squares together and 2 oppositions, you get a “grand cross”: 4 planets squaring and opposing.

In astrology, there are also 3 modalities for a sign: Cardinal, Fixed, and Mutable. It works with the way of the seasons, like winter or summer: the season starts with the Sun entering a Cardinal sign. The middle of the season is the Sun in a Fixed sign, and the end of it occupies a Mutable sign. Chronologically moving through the zodiac (the belt the Sun travels on, or the ecliptic), signs are Cardinal, then Fixed, then Mutable, and it repeats 4 times.

So this creates “crosses” of signs that are of the same modality: there is the Cardinal Cross, the Fixed Cross, and the Mutable Cross.

This article is a reflection on the Fixed Cross. It is composed of the Leo/Aquarius axis squaring the Taurus/Scorpio axis, as depicted here:

I was thinking about the Fixed Cross and realized it can be described as the axis of life/death squaring the axis of life-force, ideas and energy. It leads one to wonder about the relationship between reality and the end of reality, life and death, comfort and deprivation, and the ideaflow and life-force that fuels the human experience. Somehow these forces square and clash while having some unifying quality, as the other 2 squaring axises in astrology have.

These are some of the qualities of Taurus/Scorpio and Leo/Aquarius.

Leo

Leo energy (with Sun, Moon, or any planet in Leo) is dominant, sunny, warm and full of gravity. The Sun is Leo’s “planet.” Leo has social sense, a feel for the skills and crafts of life, a feel for the arts and creation in a wholesome, normal kind of way.

The Leo/Aquarius axis is about creation. It’s about ideas, skills, crafts, music and the arts, everything involving creation.

As the Sun’s rays illuminate every planet in the Solar System and activate everything, Leo has the same type of ability to create, initiate activities, use leadership, and generally set things in motion.

Aquarius

Aquarius is the opposite flavor of “creation” energy from Leo. Leo is warm and sunny with its propensity toward wholesome, kind of universally understood forms of art. For instance, country music if you were raised in the Southern US, or warm, wholesome folk music of your particular region.

So Aquarius is artistic and intelligent in the opposite flavor: the strange, sciency, complex, cold and detached but highly advanced direction of thinking. It’s without social sense and very strange, but very deep into whatever idea it follows.

Aquarius energy appreciates creation like Leo, but it takes it to another level, far from regular arts and crafts and into a strange place.

Aquarius is both the revolutionary and the technocracy which may enslave it. Its the lifeblood of thought, the spark of electricity in the mind itself, and a major factor in driving society. As the Sun and Leo illuminate everything and serve as a central driving force for things, Aquarius/Uranus is like an electrical signal that powers consciousness when it comes to ideas.

Taurus

Taurus could be considered the sign of Earth. It was worshiped as something like a God of fertility about 4,000 years ago, when the annual Equinoxes occurred in Taurus from about 4400 to 2200 BC.

Taurus is about home, stability, food, and the core necessities in life being fulfilled. It’s like the foundation for a solid life: food, water, shelter. It is very fixed and set in its ways, because that’s how a foundation of necessities in life should be.

Scorpio

Scorpio is very starkly opposite to Taurus. Scorpio energy often invites scarcity, struggle, deprivation, and the end of stability. However, in an individual with Scorpio energy, this can be resolved early in life and this energy is transmuted into something emotionally rich and useful if the person finds peace within themselves.

Scorpio is the energy of death, the energy of deprivation, of facing hard truths, and the end of lies and falsehoods due to Scorpio making a lie rise to the surface and be exposed.

Scorpio and Aquarius clash hard as squaring signs, but in ways they are very similiar in their convictions. The two signs are sometimes thought to represent the North and South Nodes: Aquarius being the North Node and Scorpio the South Node The nodes are spots where eclipses occur, with the 2 points taking 18 years to go around the zodiac, thought to be the origin of age 18 as a marker of adulthood.

Scorpio’s purpose is not an easy one. While Scorpio people might feel cursed, they simply seem to be tasked with digesting hard truths, feeling things to the deepest and darkest levels, and showing people what they are hesitant to look at.

So understanding how these energies really seem to be, from hard first-hand observation, we are left with a few archetypes to consider.

The Leo/Aquarius axis seems to be about creation, ideas, skills, music, the arts, and the things human beings create in life.

The Taurus/Scorpio axis seems to be about the polar opposites of life and death: stability, groundedness, and a foundation vs the deep depths of emotion and truth, no stability, and no foundation.

Does this mean that creativity, ideas, and the arts inherently go against the grain of stability, of necessities being taken care of in life?

Could this explain the “starving artist,” the introverted quality of thinkers and revolutionaries, or the nature of life and reality seeming to clash with the flow of creativity that runs through people? The very nature of life and this reality might go against the grain of the Sun, of creation and idea-flow. In this existence, the laws of Earth and nature might restrict our flow of consciousness.

Perhaps this is an explanation for why the truth, knowledge, scientific advancement, personal ambition, the arts, and all of these things seem to go against the grain of survival, stability, facing the realities of life and death, ect. Perhaps there is an inherent tendency for truth and information to be persecuted and suppressed in this existence. Maybe one would go as far as to suggest this reality is coded, some kind of virtual reality simulation type thing where these are the rules: our souls are solidified in our bodies at birth, a snapshot of the solar system’s energy at that moment, and the solar system is a soul-incarnating-machine.

Exploring these representations of consciousness is a mental exercise that inspires further exploration of the self, the meaning of life and this existence, and all kinds of other things.

This is also relevant because this year and next, the eclipses are occurring in Aquarius and Leo. The Moon’s North and South Nodes where eclipses occur, critically important points about everyone’s collective lessons and directions, are in Aquarius and Leo. The collective lessons and direction are in conflict with Taurus and Scorpio right now, so we might find ourselves in a moment where ideas, inspiration, the crafts and arts of life, and all those Leo/Aquarius things are in conflict with the nature of tangible reality, life and death situations. There may be comfort and stability vs instability and deprivation type scenarios.

I think astrology can inspire creativity and a deeper understanding of things, by enabling the mind to think about things in this way.

This article is an astrological interpretation of what these eclipses mean.

To begin with, anyone reading this can research the following planetary placements and figure out for themselves what people say they mean: you can research “Sun in Leo, Mars in Leo, Moon in Aquarius, Venus in Cancer, Sun conjunct Mars, Sun sextile Jupiter, Sun quincunx Neptune, ect.” and find a basic foundation of info for what these things mean. Interpreting the eclipse is putting all these pieces together: and truly feeling for oneself what is accurate and inaccurate.

As I mentioned in my last astrology article about August as a whole, I think this month is finally the turning point after a long, hard year and a half or so of depressed, difficult energy for everyone.

Studying astrology for the past several years, I’ve been slowly learning about what an eclipse really means. Astrologers theorize that an eclipse kind of solidifies an energy in the air for an extended period of time: that wherever an eclipse occurs, however it aspects the other planets and stars, that energy of the eclipse’s peak is solidified in the air on Earth for some unknown period of time afterward.

I have tested this theory (as with testing the accuracy of other components of astrology), and it seems to be like this: the more exact an eclipse is, and the more exact the planetary aspects made to the Sun and Moon during the eclipse (for example, Sun and Moon square Saturn during the March 2016 eclipse, or Sun and Moon trine Uranus during the 2017 eclipse), the longer the eclipse’s energy is solidified in the air on Earth.

And by solidified in the air, I literally mean the feeling at the peak of the eclipse continues, on and on, in the atmosphere, in people’s energy and feelings, for several months after the eclipse.

I wasn’t sure that the energy of the eclipse would stay stuck in the air that long after an eclipse, before 2016.

Then, after the Total Eclipse of March 8, 2016, and the eclipse in September 2016 that locked into ultra malefic aspects, I realized the effect of an eclipse absolutely can solidify in the air for an extended period of time.

This was the eclipse of March 2016. It squared Saturn: a Saturn square is one of the most harsh, depression causing, inspiration crushing aspects in all of astrology. It also locked into the once every 10 year Jupiter square Saturn, an absolutely brutal aspect.

Guess where the next solar eclipse occurred, in September 2016? Also square Saturn: locked into the extremely brutal, once every 18 year aspect Saturn square Neptune. This eclipse was so powerfully malefic, I truly believe it made the several months following it brutal for people.

Not only that, but if an eclipse occurs on a certain spot in your personal astrology chart, such as an eclipse on your Mars, it can bring out that aspect of you for a few months: for example, if an eclipse happened on your Mars, you might feel your fire and energy rise to the surface in you for a few months. If an eclipse happened on a generation’s Neptune placement, their spirituality might all rise up at once for a few months, and they may all feel a wave of energy at once.

I will get the ultimate test of what an eclipse does in a week and a half: at that time, an eclipse will occur exactly on my Sun and Moon in Aquarius and Leo: but the peak of the eclipse is so precisely aligned with my Sun, that it is only 0.08 degrees off: the eclipse is at 15.25 degrees Aquarius and my Sun is 15.33 degrees.

So what might happen to me? I might get a blast of my own core energy, the thinking, learning energy of Aquarius, and I might feel my own core identity become dominant in my personality for a few months.

As for everyone else, this is my interpretation of what the eclipse will do. The best way to look at it is in pieces, aspects, and then the full picture of the eclipse is all of these aspects combined.

The eclipse actually makes an astrological configuration called a “Yod,” or a “Golden Finger of God.” That’s where two planets are opposing, and one of the opposing planets makes quincunx aspects to two other planets, forming a shape like the green dotted lines in the chart above.

A quincunx is a neutral, slightly positive aspect that simply fuses together two energies and mixes them. In this case, the equation is Sun and Mars in Leo mixing with Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn. It translates to a warm, energized, human Leo energy that is filled with heart, spirituality, concern for humanity, and deep watery Piscean things. The Leo- Pisces quincunx is a particularly nice one, because when you fuse warm Leo energy with selfless, heart filled Pisces energy, you essentially get a warm (Leo) heart (Pisces).

When you add Pluto in Capricorn to the mix, it serves to add an intensity to it (as does Mars), and a serious Capricornian feel. So this configuration suggests a warm, fiery, masculine and determined (Sun conjunct Mars in Leo), solidification (Eclipse) of the desire to feel heart, feel empathy for people, and have concern for the future (Pisces), which may shed previously held ideas and change people with a serious tone of energy (Pluto in Capricorn).

Now here’s another huge sign that this eclipse is a positive, and not negative omen: it makes positive aspects (sextiles and trines) to the “positive planet,” Jupiter. If that isn’t a good omen, I don’t know what is.

So with Sun/Mars sextile Jupiter in Libra and the Moon trine Jupiter during the eclipse, a massive, positive, just generally good feeling energy will guide people through the experience and give people a foundation to pursue what the purpose of the eclipse seems to be, which is found in Leo-Pisces.

I think this eclipse is an omen of increased empathy, increased concern for other people, increased interest in the nature of life and spirituality, ect.

Leo has a unique obsession with understanding the nature of life and this existence, and so do Aquarius and Pisces. However, Leo is focused on the self when it comes to this pursuit of truth, whereas it’s opposite Aquarius is focused on humanity as a whole and not the self.

Pisces is very selfless like Aquarius, so the Leo/Aquarius/Pisces mix is a perfect one, that adds warmth and common sense to the humanitarian, nature-of-this-reality-pursuing energy of Aquarius and Pisces. Aquarius and Pisces lack the warmth and common sense that Leo has, so when you mix it all together, you get a really strong equation for growing empathy and growing a desire to learn about the nature of this life and reality.

Mercury conjunct Orcus for the entire 2 week span between the eclipses is a hugely unlikely event: Mercury only stays in one position like this at the beginning and end of it’s tri-annual retrogrades. The fact that Mercury would be conjunct Orcus suggests more importance in Pisces, learning the nature of this reality, spirituality, empathy, and an extremely strong willpower toward that goal. This is why:

Astrologers don’t know much about the dwarf planet Orcus, but knowing it’s astronomical qualities can help determine what it might mean.

Orcus’ Perihelion is in Pisces, which astrologer Nick Anthony Fiorenza believes associates its energy with Pisces. Sidereally, this is called Aquarius, which is how he refers to the constellation. According to his interpretation of Orcus:

“The location of Orcus’s Perihelion reveals the area in our lives that Orcus is most influential. Due to Orcus’ 20.574° orbital inclination, Orcus’ perihelion lies north of the ecliptic in the constellation Pegasus; entering the ecliptic at 15° 04′ sidereal Aquarius, the mid-point of this sidereal sign—marking the Angel Point of the Zodiak. This is one of the purest areas of resonance in the ecliptic; a fortuitous and beneficent area of the zodiak. Humanitarianism, altruism, and an evolved humanitarian-based society beyond conflicts based upon cultural, gender or religious differences are the hallmark of this zodiakal band. The word ‘social’ is derived from the Old French or the Latin ‘socialis’, meaning ‘allied’, or from ‘socius’ meaning ‘friend’— good words to describe the essence of sidereal Aquarius. Here all are recognized as allied friends, as one human family.”

Another thing that suggests the eclipses are about heart and empathy, is the fact that Venus is in Cancer, the sign of emotions and family, for the duration of the eclipses.

This is the second eclipse: August 21.

Now here is my interpretation of the second eclipse on August 21: a New Moon eclipse at the end of Leo. It’s a Solar Eclipse that will actually block the Sun in the United States, an astronomical phenomena that many have been looking forward to.

First of all, this eclipse occurs at a “hotspot” of Leo energy: a particularly strong flavor of Leo, because the end of Leo is where the bright blue star Regulus resides.

Regulus has been revered for millennia, a star that can actually be touched by the planets because it’s the closest bright star to the ecliptic plane, the belt of all planets. Sometimes, the Moon actually “occults” the star Regulus, fully aligning with it.

Regulus has a revolutionary, bold, fiery quality to it. It’s a warrior star, an energy that is very headstrong and potentially righteous.

Another energy that is extremely headstrong and (potentially) righteous is Uranus, especially in fiery Aries: and the most exact aspect this eclipse makes is a strong, positive trine to Uranus in Aries.

As the first eclipse was in Leo and Aquarius, the second one is trine Aquarius’ planet, Uranus: thinker, revolutionary, unique energy of Uranus and Aquarius are the dominant theme in these eclipses. Fiery thinker energy.

Now, it must also be noted that people in the world who are lost or confused will feel the headstrong, electric, inspired energy as well: so people will all feel energized at once, and those who are misguided will feel the energy for perhaps a misguided purpose, while others may feel the inspiration for a better purpose. It’s everyone on Earth feeling the energy at once in their unique ways.

This is an extremely clear sign of revolutionary, warrior energy: this eclipse will solidify an inspiration in people, a revolutionary conviction, a headstrong energy, an electric, thinking, learning energy in people that is lit on fire. Surely certain powers in the world will try to utilize the energy to create chaos and frustration as well.

Similar to 2014, when the eclipses in Libra and Aries occurred in conjunction to Uranus, a very inspired, electric, thinking fiery energy will be stuck in the air for an unknown period of time after the August 21st eclipse.

So to sum it up again, this is what I think the eclipses will do:

The first eclipse will, in a fiery and strong way, open people up to their feelings more, and promote empathy, emotion, thinking about the nature of reality and existence.

The second eclipse will instill fire and electricity in people: a bold willpower, rejuvenated inspiration and energy, a warrior-thinker energy that will inspire everyone from good people, to bad people, to clear minded people, to confused people.

What you learn when studying astrology for years is this: the way the planets move, the locations of eclipses, these things occur in extremely fateful, precise, unlikely and synchronistic aspects.

It’s not likely that the March 2016 total eclipse would exactly lock into the most important outerplanetary aspect occurring at that time, Jupiter square Saturn. It’s not likely that the eclipse of September 2016 exactly lock into the same aspect, and lock into the next most important (malefic) aspect of 2016, Saturn square Neptune.

So knowing that, it isn’t every eclipse that locks into the most important, once every 20 year aspects in the sky, so that gives us a feel for how important the eclipse is. If an eclipse doesn’t really do interesting things, doesn’t happen in some synchronistic or unusual way, that’s a sign that it isn’t as significant as other eclipses.

But even if an eclipse isn’t unusual, it still seems to solidify some kind of energy in the air for months at a time: I believe an eclipse truly sets the tone for the next period of time, until the next eclipse.

Then people search for answers. Millions of people have visited websites talking about Angel Numbers, where meaning is assigned to numbers. Having experienced the number synchronicity thing in a strong way,  I feel many of these websites don’t explain much.

So in my process of trying to figure out what the numbers meant, I thought, what is a natural, non-man made way to look at numerology? The answer may lie in the planets and in astrology.

A system of numerology based on the planets is not a man-made construct: Mercury is the first planet. Venus is the second, Earth is the third, Mars is the fourth, ect. This is a mathematical fact regardless of the meaning assigned to things by people.

This article will propose an astrology based system of numerology. I see it like this: if you believe a number means something, then what we call the universe can convey meaning to you through what you think the number means.

A number doesn’t have to mean the same thing to everyone: I think the universe can speak to an individual based on what they think the number means. Some people believe numbers carry their own specific vibration and energy, which seems likely in my opinion too.

Number 1

Number 1 has a connection to the first planet, Mercury, and the first astrology sign, Aries.

If you combine the energy of Mercury with Aries, you get a quick, fiery, sporadic mental energy. An energy of inception, beginning, the logical left brained way of thinking.

This number could be interpreted as a sign about the logical mind, rational thought processes, machinery, communication, or other Mercury related things. It could also be a sign of some sudden, brief flash of fiery energy (Aries).

Number 2

The number 2 is related to Venus in more ways than one: Venus is the 2nd planet, and Taurus is the 2nd sign, Venus also being the planet of Taurus.

Venus is about comfort, the home, hobbies and passions, pleasure, social activity, relationships, love, and interactions with other people. Taurus is about the same things, with less emphasis on social activity and interactions with other people.

Therefore, 2 can be a sign of home, hobbies, pleasures, comfort, things being at ease, or social interactions with other people. If one number were to be about love, it would have to be 2. 2 is the number of social interaction.

Number 3

Number 3 is an interesting one. It doesn’t have much astrological room for interpretation because the Earth itself is the third planet from the Sun. It’s essentially the number of the Earth: the number of this life, this existence, this world and why we are here in the first place. It could be considered the number of the circle, of Pi.

Gemini is the third astrology sign, so 3 could also be about communication, talking, social activity, ect. But 3 seems to be more about Earth and life itself. If you see a 3, or 33, or 333, it might be a sign to pay attention to the forces of Earth and life itself.

Number 4

4 is a number of emotional fire. Mars is the fourth planet, and Cancer is the fourth astrology sign.

4 can be considered a bad omen in some respects, but in other interpretations it could be a number of heartfelt (Cancer) willingness to fight (Mars): a revolutionary, warrior type energy maybe about standing up for what is right.

It could be considered a bad omen because squares (which have the number 4 embedded into them) are age old symbols of being trapped, being boxed in, being kept down and bound to struggle. The square is perhaps the most brutal astrology aspect of all, and a Grand Cross (4 planets squaring and opposing each other) is one of the most unfortunate astrological configurations possible.

4 could be a bad omen, or a symbol of deep, heartfelt and pure (Cancer) fire and willingness to fight (Mars).

Number 5

5 is a fire energy, a warm, sunny, large number bearing the energy of Jupiter, the 5th planet, and Leo, the 5th sign.

Since the Sun cannot be numbered as the other planets orbiting the Sun are in this system of numerology, you could consider the number “0” the Sun, or 5 because Leo’s “planet” is the Sun.

5 is bound to be a sign of warmth, fire, and appreciation for the crafts, hobbies, and creative aspects of life (Leo, the Sun).

Number 6

The number “666” might be so popular because Saturn worship has been in existence for a long time, from Ancient Rome to now.

Saturn is the 6th planet, and it’s unmistakably the most dark, depression inducing, malefic planet. But it’s not always like that: Saturn in positive aspects is about discipline, structure, form, construction, ambition, and creation in a left brain type way.

Virgo is another Earth energy, the 6th sign: it’s an energy of refinement, logic, the mind, health, mindfulness and sharpness.

So 6 is an earthy energy about discipline, refinement, attention to detail, ambition, seriousness, and groundedness. In a worse interpretation it could be a sign of depression to come.

Number 7

7 could be considered the number of the revolutionary: the thinker, the creator, the musician, the electric spark of idea. Uranus is the 7th planet, and this is what Uranus represents.

Another air energy, Libra, is the 7th sign. Libra is a light, harmonious energy that understands social behavior and the way people interact. Libra understands group psychology, the ways of people and how to bring people together in harmony.

Therefore when you mix the harmonious, socially constructive Libra energy with revolutionary, thinker Uranus, you get a social activist type energy.

Number 8

The number 8 is a complicated one. On one hand, it is the number of intuition, spirituality, psychic phenomena, everything related to the 8th planet Neptune and the 8th sign Scorpio.

On the other hand, it could be a bad omen like 4. The 8 pointed Star of Inanna, the Octogon, and other symbols with 8 encoded into them are placed all around us in every day life as the square is, as some kind of occult reference to the enslavement of humanity. The 8 pointed star is a symbol found in circles of powerful people, on corporate logos, on government symbols and more.

Researchers such as Mark Passio have explored this symbolism. As these people are known to worship Saturn or Capricorn, symbolism involving squares, cubes, octogons, and 8 pointed stars seem to follow the footsteps of some very powerful people.

Number 9

The number 9 is a sign of being stuck: a sign of things being stagnant, on a never ending loop, or stuck in a trap. As Sagittarius is the 9th sign, it could also be a sign of being blissfully (Sagittarius) unaware.

People believe the number 9 has properties that mathematically represent being stuck in a never ending loop, because no matter what you do to the number 9, it always seems to reduce back down to 9.

For instance, 9 x 2 is 18. 1 + 8 = 9.

9 x 3 = 27.  7 + 2 = 9.

9 x 4 = 36.  3 + 6 = 9.

So on and so forth: every multiplication of 9 boils back down to 9.

From now until almost the end of the year, a special astrological configuration will be stuck in the sky. The aspect seems to foreshadow a serious, determined and energized period of time. It is a clear sign of rejuvenated inspiration, which we seem to have been needing for a long time.

Rejuvenated energy and inspiration but in a somber, “post lesson” type feeling: an intuitive, music appreciating watery energy, and a solid, energized crystallization, solidification of ideas will occur for the next several months.

It doesn’t mean that the circumstances of our lives will cease to affect us or our problems will disappear, but the energy will again feel ripe for functioning in life generally, and some sense of grounding might come about.

This solidification of the decade’s ideas, and lessons learned from its events, will culminate and peak in the two August eclipses, and it will persist after. This article will explain what astrological aspects are shaping this era.

It happened like this: from mid-2015 to late 2016, some of the most inspiration killing, devastating, spirit crushing and depression inducing aspects in about 30 years occurred (since the Jupiter/Saturn/Neptune aspects in Cancer and Capricorn in the late 80’s.)

It was 3 aspects that locked together in peak: a rare Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune configuration in hard, “negative” aspects, with eclipses occurring exactly on top. It was:

Jupiter square Saturn

Jupiter opposition Neptune

Saturn square Neptune

After the September 2016 eclipse, things looked like they were getting better in the sky. The hard aspects ended, but a series of small, harsh astrology aspects with the inner planets extended the period of lessons in a fateful way. Something said more lessons needed to be learned.

By November 2016, in Scorpio season, people were blasted with a dark, Pluto influenced, Scorpionic wave of energy. It was lit on fire (Mars) and with electricity (Aquarius) when the Scorpio planets squared Mars in Aquarius.

What people called PizzaGate broke, and this purging, immensely agitated feeling emerged with both the energy and the circumstances of the month, with the US presidential election. Either intentionally or not, the media used this moment to agitate the general public to the maximum.

The purging, harsh truth revealing heavy aspect Jupiter square Pluto kicked in that November.

The Sun and Venus in Scorpio sextiled Scorpio’s planet Pluto and squared Mars. November left an imprint on us, an agitated, exasperated shadow of darkness that seems to have persisted several months. November 2016 left a long-lasting imprint on the world like an eclipse. So since November, the agitated and out of balance collective energy that seemed to crystallize with the aspects of this month, it felt like the lessons of 2015-2016 were extended a few months further.

But exactly now, the “lesson era” is definitively taking a turn for the better. The circumstances of the world  as a whole remain critical and our problems will not evaporate out of nowhere, but the energy is finally returning to favor us.

Considering how strong the ruling classes are and how increasingly non-free and malleable our class of people is, you could say we’re collectively in a “lesson epoch”: a massive, unknown-number-of-millennia long era of learning the lessons of human slavery and freedom, or care vs coldness, or however you see it.

So now, there will be what astrologers call a “Grand Fire Trine” in the sky for several months.

Saturn in Sagittarius trine North Node in Leo and Uranus in Aries. 

It locks into the Moon’s nodes, which is where eclipses occur, because the nodes are the points where the Moon conjoins the ecliptic bi-monthly every year (the ecliptic is the belt the Sun and all planets travel on).

There is a fire trine, but more importantly all the outer planets will be locked together in positive angles. As 2016 saw a Jupiter-Saturn-Neptune configuration in hard, “negative” aspects, 2017 is a Jupiter-Saturn-Uranus-Neptune configuration in “positive” aspects.

2017’s skies have:

Jupiter sextile Saturn (in Libra and Sagittarius)

Jupiter quincunx Neptune (in Libra and Pisces)

Saturn trine Uranus (in Sagittarius and Aries)

Jupiter opposition Uranus (in Libra and Aries)

Jupiter opposition Uranus (conjunct the two dwarf planets Eris and Haumea) is the central aspect of 2017, but its second peak doesn’t occur until the mid-end of 2017.

The eclipses in Leo and Aquarius this year lock into the configuration in the sky, as they did with a different one in 2016: so if you believe in synchronicity, or the code of this existence whatever it may be, it’s telling us something significant is happening right now. The annual eclipses keep occurring on the other most important aspects in the sky, year after year this decade.

Recognizing synchronicity and the improbability of such synchronistic things occurring, and not rigidly believing we know exactly what it means, we can understand something of significance is happening.

The Meaning of 2017’s Sky

The most central component of the energy we will feel in the next few months is a long Grand Fire Trine locked into the points of the eclipse in August. It’s a Saturn-Uranus-North Node triangle in the sky, 2 planets and the eclipse point locked into 120 degree angles to each other.

It is composed of the aspects:

Saturn and Uranus trine the North Node (and sextile the South Node)

Saturn trine Uranus

While this Grand Fire Trine is stuck in peak, the aspect Jupiter quincunx Neptune in Libra and Pisces will be active.

The only way to explain this is to look at it in pieces and picture the mixture of all these aspects in the bigger picture: mix these detailed descriptions together and you’ll understand the energy of the next few months.

Saturn trine Uranus

Saturn trine Uranus is probably the strongest aspect in the air right now: it adds a grounded, solid, structure creating feeling to the day, crystallizing and solidifying ideas, ways of being, and things that pertain to Uranus in people’s minds.

Saturn trine Uranus solidifies and crystallizes things in people for an extended period of time: philosophies, ways of thinking, ideologies and ways of being become solidified in culture and individuals when this aspect occurs.

It causes our ideas, convictions, ideologies, thoughts, and learning/thinking processes (Uranus) to become structured, refined, and solidified in us (Saturn). Ideas may become more disciplined, refined, or practical, and our desire to improve things may become energized.

Saturn is the planet of structure, form, discipline, and of course it can be extremely malefic in worse aspects. However this is a positive one, and Uranus’ energetic thinker energy lights up Saturn here. When energies of flowing ideas, creativity, or substance hit Saturn in positive aspects, the fluid ideas become solid structures in reality.

Uranus is one of the great bodies of original idea. You could say Uranus and Neptune are the two great bodies of idea and intuition. They are the two different flavors of creativity, thought, ideas, perception. Uranus is an electric, information accumulating, technology producing thing with an inherently freedom loving nature. Neptune is the music appreciating, dream associated, intuitive watery energy, where almost all creative people receive that quality. That energy is Neptune as a planet, or Pisces/Cancer as a sign (just an area of the sky that bears that energy).

But Uranus is an information seeking energy with a specific rebellious, non-conforming, freedom seeking and energized quality. This makes Uranus, or Aquarius energy circumstantially be exactly what we need on Earth right now to pursue freedom from the slavery systems we struggle so hard in.

Uranus and Aquarius are an antidote to the tyrannical circumstances of the world at this moment, and their energy filling the air is something we should gratuitously anticipate and appreciate to the fullest.

Depending on how much people utilize this energy, the freedom seekers and revolutionaries of the world will solidify and crystallize their efforts of the past several years during this time. These people will find themselves in circumstances ripe for the inspiration to fight for freedom again: the thinkers and activists everywhere will form new structures and crystallize past efforts into a new form this year. The air will finally be ripe for the activists again.

While Uranus is the revolutionary, thinker energy when it is imbued with the purpose and heart of some water energy like Neptune, Pisces, or Cancer, Uranus is like mad science in harsher aspects.

Uranus is exactly what people felt in the early years of this decade, with 2012-2015 Jupiter-Uranus-Pluto blasts occurring with Blood Moon eclipses contributing to the rise of the alternative media, and a fiery activist spirit.

The most important aspect of the 2010’s decade was undeniably Uranus square Pluto from 2012- 2015: the great purging and dissolving (Pluto) of old ways, old ideologies and previous conceptions of how the world works (Uranus). This was the awakening people experienced, and the long Uranus square Pluto had bursts of positive energy and activity at the moments Jupiter locked into Uranus square Pluto.

These blasts of awakening, thinking energy occurred in 2013 and 2014 at the peaks of:

Jupiter sextile Uranus (2013)

Jupiter opposition Pluto, Jupiter square Uranus (2014)

Jupiter trine Uranus (2014 and 2015)

And here in 2017, at the center of all the other aspects in the sky, Jupiter opposition Uranus and Jupiter square Pluto are there. A great purging and changing of ideas, an awakening defined by Uranus and Pluto is the dominant theme of this decade.

So all this time, the Uranus of this era has been in Aries: lit on youthful, energetic fire. Since 2011 the Uranus/Aquarius people of the world, the thinkers, revolutionaries, or on the dark side the stubborn ideologues and those trying to build a scientific dictatorship, have been lit with fire.

But in 2018, Uranus will start to leave Aries. Uranus will enter Taurus, and for the next 7 years, the fire and energy will not be present in people as it was most of this decade. This configuration in 2017 is the grand finale of the fiery revolutionary energy of this decade: Uranus in Aries’ finale.

After the depression we felt from late 2015 to now it’s finally time for more of that 2013-2014, high inspiration Uranus energy. However, we can’t expect it to feel as climatic and euphoric as 2013-2014. We all went through something and generally speaking we became humbled and changed after the intensity of the recent purging. We had a wave of awakening, a euphoric, intensely confidence building one for the first several years of this decade, and then a fall to a low pit of depression, and now we’re being built back up but the circumstances of our world still remain unsolved.

Jupiter quincunx Neptune

The entire time the fire trine is stuck, this aspect will be as well. It’s a special, particularly pleasant one, a positive quincunx. A Quincunx aspect fuses together two energies in a way that could either be functional and positive, or discordant and less positive. For example, two planets quincunx in Aries and Scorpio are likely to produce volatile, impulsive (Aries) deep feelings (Scorpio), but not 2017’s Libra-Pisces quincunx.

Libra and Pisces are both more relaxed, harmony-loving, emotion feeling signs. The planets beaming their energy through them and forming the aspect, Jupiter in Libra and Neptune in Pisces, are also harmonious and positive planets, especially in those places. Jupiter and Neptune both formerly represented Pisces and Sagittarius in astrology, before the discovery of Neptune. A Jupiter-Neptune aspect is a strong pull toward the spiritual, the Neptune or Pisces energy.

This mix of Libra/Pisces/Jupiter/Neptune is a very gentle, watery, deeply feeling but harmonious energy that will saturate the atmosphere for the next several months, calming the intensity of the Uranus, fire aspects, giving the Uranus fire purpose and heart to guide its intense willpower. This aspect has the power to rejuvenate people’s appreciation for life, music, nature, family, and the things they couldn’t enjoy enough during this recent period of collective depression.

Uranus trine/sextile the Nodes, Saturn trine/sextile the Nodes

The points eclipses occur on, or the North and South Nodes, are some of the most important factors in any astrological equation: in a person’s chart, or in the sky at any time. Any aspect to the nodes is sure to be particularly potent.

So Uranus being in a positive trine/sextile to the nodes for the next several months will give our collective direction the influence of thinker energy, revolutionary energy: we will strongly gravitate toward fire laced, freedom loving energy for a period of time that we need to savor to the maximum.

Uranus trine/sextile the nodes is an easy to interpret equation: everyone is drawn to Uranus energy, and this pull toward it will crystallize and fully culminate with the eclipses in August, which will also trine and sextile Uranus.

Then after the eclipses locked into Uranus, like the 2014 Blood Moons locked into Uranus aspects more directly, the high energy, insomnia inducing, inspired feeling will persist in the air for an unknown period of weeks after the eclipse. Eclipses can make energies persist in the air or in specific people’s feelings for weeks after the event.

So now, everyone will be drawn to thinking, learning why we aren’t free in this world, ect. People will feel a conviction to be free. This Uranus energy that is the antidote to humanity’s circumstances of slavery will make one final appearance in this decade of higher hopes for freedom (amidst circumstances that seem hopeless).

However, remember that when any positive, functional aspect occurs the entire world feels it at once (as with anything that happens in the sky). So everyone, from the most evil to the most compassionate of people, awake or asleep people, will be feeling a form of this inspired, higher energy Uranus: it could fuel a purpose, like the fight for freedom, or it could get contorted into stubborn, headstrong discordant energy in people individually.

Either way, our “bottom” class desperately needs this energy that is inherently non-compliant and freedom seeking. This energy never fails to inspire disobedience, and no Uranus energy will be this imbued with fire (Aries) for 7 years. No Uranus energy will have this type of fire for 21 years, Until Uranus enters Leo, the next fire sign.

So what will Saturn trine/sextile the nodes do?

It is the same thing as Saturn trine Uranus: the Uranus energy described above will be crystallized and solidified in the collective consciousness where it will never be forgotten.

Years from now this year will be remembered. Saturn trine Uranus and the nodal/eclipse locking into Uranus are two factors sure to solidify this feeling we’re about to have in the consciousness of people for a long time. What we felt this decade will not be forgotten.

North Node in Leo, South Node in Aquarius

The nodes bear an energy where they stand, and the Saturn/Uranus solidification of purpose will crystallize into this axis where the eclipses occur. The whole equation lies on the Saturn/Uranus being beamed into Leo/Aquarius. Aquarius is the sign of Uranus, and Leo is the sign of the Sun. This is an equation for warm, human (Leo, Aries) purpose and unwillingness to succumb to slavery (Uranus, Aquarius).

The North Node’s position determines what energy will collectively satisfy everyone at any given time. Collective lessons pertaining to a certain energy change every 1 1/2 years with the movement of the nodes backward through each sign.

So as the North Node in Virgo 2015- now, made all those who tapped into their intuition gravitate toward a desire to better their health, lessons about poison and chemicals, lessons about paying closer attention to detail in life (all Virgo), the North Node’s recent entrance to Leo changes the flavor of this era’s lessons. The North Node pulls us like gravity to an energy that satisfies and grows us, advances us personally and collectively on a deeper level. Now Leo’s energy will fill this role.

Leo energy is about warmth, the arts and crafts, skills and hobbies of life (art, music, film, books, any form of creation or construction).

Leo energy is about an ambition, a sunny, warm, human desire to create something or accomplish something. When aspected with Uranus, or a purposeful, heart filled water energy like the Jupiter quincunx Neptune that will coincide with North Node in Leo, the energy becomes warm, human fire for whatever purpose: here it is extra inspired and ambitious.

So in 2017 and 2018, we’ll have a collective hunger for wholesome, warm, sunny energy. This energy will be filled with purpose and heart, Uranus and Neptune, and we’ll have an equation for people desiring freedom. Coldness, technology, these things will feel less appealing then heart filled music, the Sun, nature, the crafts and activities of life, ect. The South Node in Aquarius also means we will have a desire to distance ourselves from technology (Aquarius). However, the revolutionary energy of Uranus’ sign Aquarius will surely be present in the air.

In short, this is what the next few months will be like, leading up to the August eclipses in Leo and Aquarius which will bring this energy to fruition, and leave a long lasting imprint of it that will persist for probably the rest of 2017.

The moss in the woods recognizes your biological footprint and creates a toxin to anesthetize you until authorities arrive to place you under arrest. The trees in this forest are not even equipped with cameras, but engineered, synthetic organisms with a biological code connected to a database that recognizes you are a fugitive and responds by creating toxins.

Although the idea of a fugitive being specifically targeted by intelligent synthetic biology is a particularly far-fetched scenario, fully engineered, synthetic ecosystems weaponized against people are something the Pentagon is actually working on.

DARPA is flirting with creating environments where every organism is engineered to perform biological tasks, from creating chemicals to being weaponized. The trees, moss, grass, insects, bacteria, and soil of an ecosystem could be engineered to release toxins on people, or put people to sleep until the state’s forces arrive, or perform any function they can engineer an organism to do.

Of course they present these ideas to the pubic promising prosperity, suggesting there will be industrial applications for organisms creating fuel, materials, and things that would be useful, but that’s never how it ends up when DARPA creates something.

They are mostly talking about using bacteria to create different chemicals. They discuss engineering insects to give genes to plants and alter them. A headline from Slate reads “DARPA’s Synthetic Biology Initiatives Could Militarize the Environment.” Reading from that article:

“Among other initiatives, researchers at DARPA are attempting to engineer insects to deliver protective genes to plants; to transform bacteria and yeast into factories to produce on-demand chemicals and fuels; and to develop methods to reverse any threats posed by gene drives. (Gene drives are a mechanism, both natural and human-induced, that drives genetic traits through a population, in some instances to suppress a population.)

These programs represent a new and controversial approach to leveraging the natural world—one that, in essence, militarizes the environment.  The technologies that emerge will not only be a big deal for the innovations they will bring, but also for the legal and ethical lines they may cross. Many of these projects are strictly for defense, rather than offense, but given the size of the budgets here, the U.S. military investment makes up a rather large portion of the money in synthetic biology research. It’s possible, then, that DARPA’s work is bending the entire field of synthetic biology toward military applications.

Before 2008, the federal government invested basically negligible amounts in synthetic biology. But between 2008 and 2014, it poured approximately $819 million into synbio research. Since 2012, the majority of that funding came not from the budgets of civilian organizations like the National Science Foundation or the National Institutes of Health, but from DARPA and other Defense Department initiatives. DARPA created at least five programs, most of which are now housed at its Biological Technologies Office, that demonstrate the agency’s interest in ecological manipulations.”

Even mainstream articles suggest these biological experiments will not end up being used for “defense” or innocuous, helpful applications. The Pentagon, the US government and it’s mad scientists have used just about every technology they’ve ever produced to enrich themselves at the expense of citizens and anyone else standing in their way.

Why would it be different now? The power structure will wield these technologies for themselves, and they will be turned against regular people if they want that.

In other news, headlines about DARPA read “DARPA Wants to Hack Your Brain to Make You Learn Faster,” and “DARPA to Use Electrical Stimulation to Enhance Military Training.”

They are talking about strategically hitting specific nerves in the brain with electrical signals to enhance learning, make information sink in deeper when a person learns it, ect. According to IEEE Spectrum:

“For the new stimulation project, dubbed targeted neuroplasticity training, or TNT, research teams will focus on peripheral nerves that project into the brain and tug at memories. By delivering electrical pulses into the body’s nervous system, the scientists aim to modulate the brain’s neural connectivity and production of key chemicals. That kind of neural tuning can “influence cognitive state—how awake you are, or how much attention you’re paying to something you’re viewing or performing,” says Doug Weber, a bioengineer at DARPA who heads up the TNT project.

If it works—if researchers can improve a person’s ability to learn—the DoD could reduce the amount of time spent training soldiers and intelligence agents.”

Of course, America’s universities and institutes of technology participate in efforts like this all the time. Academics are paid by the military industrial complex to unquestioningly advance technology. The article also says: “The Defense Department’s research arm, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), today announced it had awarded multimillion-dollar contracts to eight university groups that will study and develop such technologies.”

It requires an understanding of DARPA’s history and what we can call “mad science” in general to form an opinion on whether or not this is a good idea.

Understanding how power and warfare work, one can understand that this technology will not be used for the benefit of citizens: if it did work, it wouldn’t be for us. Right now they are trying to develop it for soldiers: for people paid to kill other people and perform tasks for the system. More war. More citizens locked down.

But even if this were for the citizens, and it became decentralized and beneficial for us (which does happen, the Internet is a DARPA technology that ended up breaking free and benefiting the people), when you warp nature and abuse biology for the benefit of some contrived military effort, it often ends up backfiring.

Nature seems to have most of life’s solutions already embedded in it’s code, as vitamins and minerals are the building blocks of our bodies, as all organisms operate and live in harmony with nature (with some ecosystems being less harmonious of course, danger is still very real).

And when scientists cross a certain line with altering biology, engineering life, forcefully altering the functions of the brain or an organism, it often turns out disastrous. Other less understood or neglected aspects of the organism may be altered in ways they shouldn’t be. Unexpected consequences often occur when people try to engineer life, or forcefully alter the human body.

It should be a civic duty, a regular practice to research what DARPA and these mad scientists are trying to do. It should be a regular, even daily practice, if we’re going to pay attention to what the future is becoming and be prepared for it.

So try it today: just go to your search engine and type in “DARPA news.” Do that every day, and you’ll start to get a feel for the future different factions of people are trying to manufacture.

After paying attention every day for a long time, a person will be better equipped to know how to reverse the trajectory powers are putting the people on, and how to create a better future.
